Description: The Abandon Prevention project began in 1996 and every month it supported 10 families. Since then the number of families has changed due to certain criteria. Currently 12 families are supported by the project.
The aim of the project is to educate and teach disadvantaged children in their own family environment.
The form of support: regular food aid, clothes, shoes, school supplies, cleaning products, home renovation and development and the possibility of participating in camps. Every summer, together with Dutch and American volunteers we repair a family’s house. The teens from the Dorcas home also participate at this work for the purpose of vocational education.
